About skype, internet speed, gym and about be a "fisherman"

well, I'll try to help you with the answers you need(at least a few of them), I'm from São Miguel and i had live here till nowadays(hope I can change that) and I can tell you about a few of your doubts.
About your doubt connected to skype, well I do you use skype here and I have no problems with it or any kind of issue connected to it, so I think you will be fine using it here, the internet speed is also good so I'm sure it wont be a problem to you(on my case I have 100 MB) the gym one, you can find a few ones(although I don't frequent any...so I can't help with any other question or doubt related to it) and about your doubt related to fish....you can get fish without much problems here, so you can get fresh fish anytime you want:)
sorry for not be able to help you even more than I did but about the rest of your questions, I cannot help since I'm not working or even looking for a place to settle down on the island...:P
