a) Use virgin coconut oil made in the Philippines (I may be contacted for this)
b) Eat veggies (lots of fibers)
c) Eat fish
d) meat if tolerable at least once a week. Beef is preferred... Chicken is good without the skin.Cholesterol Levels

When eating lechon eat veggies first and brown rice. Suggested dessert is plain buko served cold (coconut). Not recommended for people who already have high cholesterol and prone to heart attack... because this dish is super delicious.

There's a lot of food that is the best here in Philippines, one of them is Lechon. It is a crunchy and really delicious I am now craving for lechon right now. I have a friend from Panama and he really loves it after eating it. However, it is really high on cholesterol. You can also try to Adobo and sisig they are really delicious. Sinigang is also one of a great soup dishes here. With a lot of vegetables it is really nutritious. I hope someday I'll be a one of a publisher that makes article on how great the foods here.

I think its crunchy Lechon with Lechon Sauce (second plate) , buko salad (dessert), and native salad - first plate (green mangoes, grilled eggplant, boiled water cabbage (kangkong), monggo sprouts, shrimp paste (colored pink with freshly squeezed calamansi juice, sautteed in tomatoes concasse, atsuete, garlic, salt and pepper).
