Advice on where to live in/around Florence with a 4 year old?

Hello,

are there any families here who have moved to or around Florence and can recommend nice areas to live in? I am considering moving to Florence with my 4 year old son : it will be just the two of us (and our dogs) so advice on areas, communities, pre-K (materne) would be greatly appreciated.
